Golden Sunny Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") has established the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") regarding the handling of personal information of users in services provided by the Company (hereinafter referred to as "Service(s)"), as follows.

Article 1 (Personal Information)

  3. The Company may collect information related to devices, apps, and networks, such as cookies, online identifiers such as advertising IDs (IDFA/AAID), device type, OS, language and time zone settings, browser type, app version, IP address, name of telecommunications carrier, and similar, information related to Service usage conditions and activity history such as access logs, location information (only with the consent of the user), information specified for each Service, and other information related to the above information.

Article 3 (Purposes of Collecting and Using Personal Information)

The purposes for which the Company collects and uses personal information are as follows:

  • (2) To respond to inquiries from users (including identification)
  • (3) To send users information about new features, updates, campaigns, etc. relating to Services used by users
  • (4) To send users information about other Services the Company provides

Article 4 (Change of Purpose of Use)

  1. The Company may change the purpose of use of personal information only when it is reasonably recognized that the purpose of use is related to the purpose of use before the change.
  2. In the event of a change in the purpose of use, the Company shall notify the user or publicly announce on this website the purpose of use after the change by a method prescribed by the Company.

Article 5 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

  1. Except in the following cases, the Company will not provide a user's personal information to any third party without the prior consent of the user. However, this excludes cases permitted under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other applicable laws and regulations.
    • ⑴ When the disclosure is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of a person, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual to whom the information pertains
    • ⑵ When it is especially necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound growth of children and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual to whom the information pertains
    • ⑶ When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, a local government, or a person or entity entrusted by either of these to execute matters prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the consent of the individual to whom the information pertains is likely to impede the execution of said matters
    • ⑷ When the Company has provided notification or announced the following matters in advance, and when the Company has notified the Personal Information Protection Commission
      • The purpose of use includes provision to a third party
      • Items of data provided to third parties
      • Means or method of provision to third parti
      • Cessation of provision of personal information to third parties at the request of the individual to whom the information pertains
      • Means by which the request of the above individual can be received
  2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, in the following cases, the party to which the information is provided does not fall under the category of a third party.
    • ⑴ When the Company outsources all or part of the handling of personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use
    • ⑵ When personal information is provided in connection with the succession of business due to a merger or other reasons
    • ⑶  When personal information is used jointly with a specific person, and the Company provides notice to the individual to whom the information pertains in advance, or makes readily accessible to that individual, the following knowledge: The items of personal information jointly used, the scope of the joint users, the purpose of use by the joint users, and the name or title of the person responsible for the management of the relevant personal information.

Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

  1. Upon request from the individual to whom the personal information pertains for disclosure of his/her personal information, the Company shall disclose such information to the individual without delay. However, if any of the following cases apply, and as a result the Company decides not to disclose the personal information in whole or in part, it shall promptly notify the individual to that effect. A fee of 1,000 yen will be charged for each 1 (one) case of disclosure of personal information.
    • ⑴ If there is a risk of harm to the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the individual or a third party
    • ⑵  If there is a risk of significant hindrance to the proper execution of the Company's business
    • ⑶ In any other case that would violate applicable laws and regulations
  2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the Company will not, in principle, disclose non-personal information such as usage history and information about user characteristics.

Article 7 (Revision and Deletion of Personal Information)

  1. If a user's personal information held by the Company is erroneous, the user may request that the Company make revisions, additions, or deletions (hereinafter collectively referred to as "revisions, etc.") of the user's personal information in accordance with the procedures established by the Company.
  2. Upon receiving a request from a user as described in the preceding paragraph, if the Company deems it necessary to respond to such request, the Company shall make prompt revisions, etc. to the relevant personal information.
  3. In the event that the Company makes revisions, etc. in accordance with the preceding paragraph or decides not to make revisions, etc., the Company will notify the relevant user of such decision without delay.

Article 8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information, etc.)

  1. In the event that the Company receives a request from an individual to cease using or delete (hereinafter, "cease to use or delete") the personal information of the concerned individual on the grounds that it has been handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use or that it has been obtained by wrongful means, the Company will promptly conduct an appropriate investigation.
  2. If, based on the results of the investigation in the preceding paragraph, the Company determines that it is necessary to comply with the request, the Company will cease to use or delete the personal information without delay.
  3. When the Company decides to cease to use or delete personal information in accordance with the preceding paragraph, or decides not to suspend the use of personal information, the Company will promptly notify the relevant user of such decision.
  4. Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, if ceasing to use or deleting the personal information involves a large cost or is otherwise difficult to carry out, and alternative measures sufficient to protect the rights and interests of users can be taken, these alternative measures will be taken.

Article 9 (Cookies, Advertising Identifiers (IDFA/AAID), Google Analytics)

  1. The Company may use cookies, advertising identifiers (IDFA/AAID), or similar technologies in order to understand how users use a Service, to improve the convenience of the Service, and to deliver advertisements that are appropriate for users. Such information does not contain individually identifying information.
  2. The Company may use Google Analytics provided by Google to understand how a Service is used and to improve the convenience of the Service. Google Analytics uses cookies, etc. to collect and analyze browsing history in a form that does not include individually identifying information. The Company may receive the results and use them to develop and improve its Services by understanding usage conditions of users (including visitors to the Company's website).

Article 10 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)

  1. The contents of this Privacy Policy may be changed without notice to users, except as otherwise provided in laws and regulations or in the Privacy Policy.
  2. Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the revised Privacy Policy will take effect from the time it is posted on the Company's website.
